Report: MLB's transition to Under Armour uniforms pushed to 2020

Major League Baseball uniforms reportedly won't be made by Under Armour until 2020.

The sports apparel company was set to become the official supplier of MLB uniforms beginning next season but the transition has been pushed back, multiple sources told ESPN's Paul Lukas.

Majestic currently makes the league's uniforms and will continue to do so in 2019.

Under Armour was originally scheduled to take over as the on-field supplier in 2020 when they signed an apparel contract with MLB in 2016, but commissioner Rob Manfred adjusted the transition to 2019 last year.

The deal is expected to run for 10 years once it gets going.
