Watch: Haniger's accurate throw takes crazy twist, costs Mariners

Mitch Haniger was a little too on point Thursday night.

After the Oakland Athletics' Adam Rosales smacked a line drive down the right-field line to score Jaff Decker, Haniger came up throwing to second to prevent Rosales from moving up a base.

Unfortunately for the Seattle Mariners, his throw was too accurate, hitting the base and bouncing high into the air, which allowed Rajai Davis to score and Rosales to slide into second.

Haniger was hit with an error for the throw.
